Carter's First Day Sailing

Today we all went to a breakfast buffet at The Moorings where the boat is docked. A guy named Lou came and checked us out on the boat so we would be able to take it out. We then were able to sail. We motored out of the marina and then we turned the motor off and put the Main Sail up. That made the boat rock (keel over), a little bit. Then we put the Jib Sail up. That's when I thought the boat was going to tip over. It was so windy that with both sails up I thought we were in trouble. Chop said it weighs 35,000 pounds and has lead in the hull so it won't tip. When the boat keeled it was fun and scary! When we got to Marina Cay. There are tons of boats around us. After lunch we went snorkeling and saw tons of different types of fish & coral. It was fun!
Some of the fish I saw were
Stoplight Parrot Fish
Sargent Major
Sea Cucumber

Horse-Eyed Jack
Squirrel Fish
Trumpet Fish
Sand Dollar
